Free keys, hard RPM
NVIDIA NIM, OpenRouter, Groq, and similar programs give you a real key for their models. The catch is per-key rate limits — a handful of calls per minute, then HTTP 429.

Your key joins the pool, which routes other members' requests through it — never your own. When a donated key is rate-limited, the pool tries the next one. Each served request returns 5% on Go, 8% on Pro/Max to your balance.

One key hits the wall
A single free-tier key is fine for a demo and useless for an agent loop. When that key 429s, your session stalls even though other people still have unused quota on the same provider.
The pool unblocks it
Donated keys join one shared pool. When a key is rate-limited, AnyRouter defers it and tries another donor's key for the same provider. Combined spare RPM is what you actually use — not one vendor's tiny cap.

What you give
- One BYOK key you've already added, for any of the pool's eligible providers.
- Requests the pool serves through it count against your own provider account's usage and billing.
- You pick the key and the moment you stop — nothing is enrolled automatically.
What you get
- 5% back on Go or no plan, 8% on Pro/Max — set by your plan at the moment each request lands.
- One active donated key makes the Go plan free, for as long as that key stays active — no card, ever.
- Credits spend on any pay-as-you-go request, including models you hold no key for.
Your protections
- Encrypted at rest; decrypted only in memory to place the call, never logged or returned.
- Self-route guard: your own requests never draw from your own donated key.
- 3 straight rate-limit errors or repeated failures auto-pause the key until it's healthy again.
- Public and donor views show aggregate counters only — never prompt content or requester identity.
How to stop
- Toggle 'Donate to pool' off, or withdraw the key — it leaves the pool immediately, no pending requests.
- Withdrawing your last active key ends the free Go plan on the next sync and claws back this month's $4 credit; a plan you paid for is never touched.
- Re-donating later picks the same key back up, consent and history intact — and restores the unspent remainder of this month's credit ($4 minus what you already used).

Rewards are capped at $1 per key per UTC day (a key that hits the cap pauses until the next day) and computed live from your plan at the moment each request lands — an upgrade or downgrade takes effect on your very next served request. Free-listed ($0 notional cost) requests still count toward your stats but earn nothing.
