# NEAR AI Cloud (BYOK)

> Create an API key for NEAR AI Cloud and add it to AnyRouter.


# NEAR AI Cloud — Bring Your Own Key

Route requests through your own NEAR AI Cloud account ([BYOK](/features/byok)); no platform credits are charged. You need a API key string.

## Get your API key

1. Sign in at [NEAR AI Cloud](https://cloud.near.ai/).
2. Open the API keys page in the dashboard and create a key.
3. Copy the key and keep it for the **API key** field below.

## Gotchas

NEAR AI Cloud's terms bar reselling the service and using free-tier resources as a proxy, so use your own paid key. The key is never added to the shared pool.

## Add it to AnyRouter

1. Open **[Dashboard → BYOK](https://anyrouter.dev/dashboard/byok)**, find **NEAR AI Cloud** under **Available** and click **Add key**.
2. Paste the key.
3. Click **Save**. AnyRouter validates the key against NEAR AI Cloud first; on failure the dialog shows the upstream error and nothing is saved.
