# Kenari — Bring Your Own Key

Route requests through your own Kenari account ([BYOK](/features/byok)); no platform credits are charged. You need a API key string.

## Get your API key

1. Sign in at [Kenari](https://kenari.id/login).
2. Open the dashboard and create an API key; it starts with `kn-`.
3. Copy the key and keep it for the **API key** field below.

## Gotchas

Kenari bills from your own Rupiah balance, so top it up before the first request. Its terms bar reselling access, so the key is never added to the shared pool.

## Add it to AnyRouter

1. Open **[Dashboard → BYOK](https://anyrouter.dev/dashboard/byok)**, find **Kenari** under **Available** and click **Add key**.
2. Paste the key.
3. Click **Save**. AnyRouter validates the key against Kenari first; on failure the dialog shows the upstream error and nothing is saved.

- Create key: [Kenari console](https://kenari.id/login)
- Default base URL (editable on the key form): `https://kenari.id/v1`
