# Itera Compute — Bring Your Own Key

Itera Compute is a supported [BYOK](/features/byok) provider. Bring your own API key string, and AnyRouter routes your requests through it — no platform credits are charged for BYOK-backed calls.
This provider has a free tier or free credits — a good place to start.

## Get your API key

1. Sign in at [Itera Compute](https://platform.iteracompute.com/sign-in).
2. Open [API keys](https://platform.iteracompute.com/api-keys) and create a key.
3. Copy the secret (it is shown once) and keep it for the **API key** field below.

## Gotchas

Qwen3.8-27B has a free allowance of 30M tokens a month (no card) until 2026-11-24; free accounts may queue up to 120 seconds when capacity is busy. Itera's free tier terms bar reselling or pooling free capacity, so the key is never added to the shared pool.

## Add it to AnyRouter

1. Go to **[Dashboard → BYOK](https://anyrouter.dev/dashboard/byok)**.
2. Find **Itera Compute** under **Available** and click **Add key**.
3. Paste your key into the **API key** field.
- **Create key**: [Itera Compute console](https://platform.iteracompute.com/api-keys)
- **Default base URL** (editable on the key form): `https://api.iteracompute.com/v1`

4. Click **Save**. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Itera Compute before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
