# Fluence (BYOK)

> Create an API key for Fluence and add it to AnyRouter.


# Fluence — Bring Your Own Key

Route requests through your own Fluence account ([BYOK](/features/byok)); no platform credits are charged. You need a API key string.

## Get your API key

1. Join the waitlist at [Fluence Inference](https://inference.fluence.cloud/).
2. Once your account is open, create an API key in the Fluence Inference console.
3. Copy the secret and keep it for the **API key** field below.

## Gotchas

Fluence's terms bar sharing your account with anyone else, so the key is never added to the shared pool. Usage bills your own Fluence balance.

## Add it to AnyRouter

1. Open **[Dashboard → BYOK](https://anyrouter.dev/dashboard/byok)**, find **Fluence** under **Available** and click **Add key**.
2. Paste the key.
3. Click **Save**. AnyRouter validates the key against Fluence first; on failure the dialog shows the upstream error and nothing is saved.
