# Eden AI (BYOK)

> How to create an API key for Eden AI and add it to AnyRouter via Bring Your Own Key.


# Eden AI — Bring Your Own Key

Eden AI is a supported [BYOK](/features/byok) provider. Bring your own API key string, and AnyRouter routes your requests through it — no platform credits are charged for BYOK-backed calls.

## Get your API key

1. Sign in at [Eden AI](https://app.edenai.run/).
2. Open [API keys](https://app.edenai.run/) and create a key.
3. Copy the secret and keep it for the **API key** field below.

## Gotchas

Eden AI model ids are written provider/model (for example scaleway/gpt-oss-120b). The key is never added to the shared pool.

## Add it to AnyRouter

1. Go to **[Dashboard → BYOK](https://anyrouter.dev/dashboard/byok)**.
2. Find **Eden AI** under **Available** and click **Add key**.
3. Paste your key into the **API key** field.
- **Create key**: [Eden AI console](https://app.edenai.run/)
- **Default base URL** (editable on the key form): `https://api.edenai.run/v3`

4. Click **Save**. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Eden AI before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
